I have finished a jlh69 amp,published in the EW (may 2000)
I can say, in comparising with mine rotel amp,
the jlh is the better one.
A great amp for such a simple design.

U cant compare a dedicated DIY amp with a mass-produced commercial amp

JLH-69 amp is one of the best diy-amps.
so don't compare it with a rotel...
the JLH is better then a lot expensive (so much better then Rotel) amps...

The amps are monoblocks.
Supply voltage is 29 volts.
Standing current 1.2A
Transistors: q1/q2= mj15003
q2=2n3019
q4=bc560c

How many amps have you buildt ? Do you mean, that 36 years ( ! ) other constructeurs had make only " lemons " ? Wake up, BTW other guys too.

For the power supply, i will use a capicitance multiplier
(shown on the class-A Amplifier site)
I wondered is there any sound difference between this and
common C-R-C power supply.

(sorry for my bad englisch)
