Finally finished my 6 channel leach amp. Fabricated the boards and case. Thought I would post a few pics. Guess its time to start a preamp project :P

Few specs for the curious: 1500 VA Hammond 182V40 transformer (40-0-40 @ 18 amps) 200000 uf filtering caps (10 10000 uf per -/+)

Really nice work. One of the nicer amps I've seen put together by a DIYer. The only issue is that the caps are enclosed and the temp rise won't help their longevity if that's any issue at all.
Does anyone know if Dr. Leach is still selling the PCBs for his amp? |
