help needed -unknown type

hi guys...

found a bunch of these... Motorola sj4836, TO package, searching on Internet couldnt find anything...
HEEEELLLLPPPPP

have about 20 of them...

Found where? That may give us a clue...

These are a house numbered part from Motorola. They normally will not release this information (such as base part #).

As ilimzn suggests, the source may be a large part of the answer. Any date code?

hmmm... as far as I know they were part of old Olivetti machine (I think PSU)...

Hi sith,
The ratings could be anywhere from a 2n3055 to a 20A or so device. Any idea what the supply voltage was or voltage of the caps?
