Adding a choke

I'm looking for mods to do to my Technics SU-7700, and I was wondering if it was plausible or worth adding a choke and some bigger caps. Is it?

Kill time?
Trying new things as a learning experience?
Fixing a problem with the PSU?
General tweaking?

Hahaha, spend money to kill time? No. Tweak? Yes. Learn? Yes. Hopefully improve overall performance and reliability, and to be able to say that I worked on it.

I do not think it's worth adding chokes, Perhaps it will benefit adding bypass capacitors.
