Someone posted pics a few months ago of a commercial amplifier that they had gutted and remounted on an open chassis. I seem to recall that it might have originally been a Pioneer of some sort, but could be wrong about that part.
The chassis was wood, I think, and IIRC, he has LED's or lamps to illuminate the whole thing, and the result was very nice. I've just spent nearly two hours searching for that post, as I wanted to get some ideas for another amp I am considering gutting and mounting on an open chassis. Maybe the original poster might dig it up and give me a link? Or anyone else remember something about it that would facilitate an efficient search? |

The greater the number of unusual words you can recall from the text in any of the posts in the thread the greater the chance that you will find what you want.
I mean, good luck. *bump*

I just remember looking at it quickly, and had intended to save the pics for some ideas for my own projects. Unfortunately, I did not save them, and now the thread is seriously buried somewhere.
I also don't recall much of the text. Bummer. |
