Hello,

I was wondering whats anyones take on www.AudioSource.net products are? I was also researching on DIY amplifiers but completed prices ended up costing more.

Im looking at the AudioSource AMP One/A:

Can anyone suggest a better amp for the same price or less.

Im looking into 2 or 3 of these on a full active MTM setup with a Behringer DCX2496 crossover.

I used to see the Amp 100 on ebay quite often. I picked up a new one last year for $100. Haven't tried it yet. They're quite a bargain if still available.

I got an Amp 1 as a fixer.
Quit decent, actually, nice toroid and good power supply but the rectifier bridge could use upgrading.
The amp itself is a decent design, except for the front end which is not so decent. It's only really there to provide a subsonic filter. Works much better when bypassed, together with it's input and output electrolytics.
The real downside to these are the heatsinks which are just too small for it's rating if delivered continiously. The transistors themselves are fine (Sanken 16A units).
