k-6 amps

hai all ,

I would like to know if someone has tried out these amps ,the site says that the amps were featured in electronics now magazine . I would like to build the amps .Another thing is that the amps are run on smps ,not usual toroids . power levels can also be adjusted accordingly . please post your comments

$900 without a case. That better be some kinda amp.

What's your reason for picking this amp?

I think it's quite expensive and the design of the SMPS is very far from perfect, including poor mains isolation

the Amp sound OK, I have built it from scratch, and its working. but it heats a lot
