I thought IRF540/9540 is better choice than IFRP240/9240 because of lower on resistance...

I' d prefer the IRF540 / 9540 because they are easily found in Brazil and are cheap (about US$1.5 each one).
Of cause, the output transistors will be assembled in a large aluminum heat sink. [/B]

- how did this amplifier behave?
- any problems?

My Attachment shows first post schema, before eventual modifications

35 Watt amplifier using IRF Hexfet would be a good level to use,
for the average audio builder, including me
