Hello folks,
I am new to the forum. I was reading over some of the Threads, I have not done any design work in some time. I was wondering how you make your component selections for Amplifiers. Are you using commonly used components from other designs you have seen, are you using reference manuals or are you pooling from experience? Or all of the above? |

Hi AR1,
Welcome to the forum. I do all of the above when selecting parts. If I see a part used in something else and I'm considering it, I'll check the databook first. -Chris |

I assume you use a particular manufactures data guide? how do you cross reference or does the manufacture provide cross-reference? I noticed TI and Silicon Rectifier are good sources.

Hi AR1,
I only use the original manufacturer's information. Some info is linked on the web. Popular devices have xreferences. I view NTE and ECG information as worse than useless. -Chris |
