I have a pair of of Hafler DH-200's that I upgraded the power supply caps from 10,000uf to 24,000uf each cap. How do they sound bridged compared to the standard non bridged amps? I am running Magnepan MG2.7's.
My other thought was not to bridge them and remove the fuses on one channel in each amp and run them both as a mono amps. This would give me 48,000uf and a seperate transformer and rectifer bridge for each channel. Anyone tried either of these modifications? |
