Yes. it will be pretty workable class A power follower.

It makes a great power follower. Used it with triode voltage stage with very nice results. Adding a current source instead of the bootstrap makes a nice improvement as well.

Was looking at maybe trying it with a transformer voltage stage (though it won't driven directly from the step-up transformers).
