reciever prob

i own a MCS series 3237 synthesized stereo reciever and the left channel is extremely distorted i checked all connections they are fine. does anybody have any ideas?

Open it up and look for burned stuff. Typical failures are in the power output stages but not always. At least you have the other channel to compare against.
