Hi all,
This may sound strange but Palesha raised this point in one of our e-mails. Many famous amps (Leach, JLH, Aleph, Zen, ESP etc) were designed is countries colder than India. Does anyone think that there will be a difference in performance when these are operated in tropical countries and what about the heatsink issue? Vivek |

Yup, Christmas and new year parties in 40*C heat and I get plenty of repairs in.
At normal level is not such a problem, but running at full power for extended period can be. Running in hifi cabinets with inadequate ventilation is the killer. A few modern shelf style combination systems have fan forced cooling. Effective and quiet fan cooling can be quiet and relatively cheap. Regards, Eric. |
