I am trying to match an amplifier with a pair of Thiel cs5i speakers with 4 ohm impedance.
Any info on the Threshold 400A amp as a possible match? I am concerned with it being 100W and whether it will be enough to control the speakers. Thanks much. Mark |

I have a 1978? (serial number A7807639) 400A. The back panel says, "4 ohms maximum nominal load per channel. 400 watts maximum output per channel."
Was this a typo on the silkscreen? |
