Hi
I have a transformer and I want to regulate AC(less than 36v) power to DC. Have any sample circuits that use bjt or fet to do this can show me? Thank you. |

I might have something mixed up, but wouldn't a rectifier and three pin LM style regulator be fine for this?
You can regulate AC using a pair of thee pin LM regulators, but you'll get AC out. If you want regulated DC out, you'll have to rectify it first. It also depends what quality of DC you want out and at what efficiency. |

I had make a LM 317 & LM337 regulator.
AC -> Bridge -> LM317 & LM 337 -> DC I just want to try how it's different about IC regulator and FET regulator. |
