Does it make sense to replace Samhwa 15.000uF / 50V (35 mm x 45mm) caps in PS of my power amp (Bel Canto eVo 4 digital amp; 4x 120W / 8 Ohm, 2 x 360W in bridged mode) with Nichicon KG Gold Tune 10.000uF / 50 V (35mm x 80mm) ones ?
Those are the biggest HQ caps I could find with 35mm footprint. Do you thing that what they loose in capacitance they will make up in performance ? |

I would say that 2*15.000uf was to little to begin with for an amp like this. Reducing the capacity to 2*10.000 will in my opinion only lower the capabillity to handle low impedances and reproduce the right "punches" in the sub area.
Better was to keep the original and add the new HQ caps in parallel to achieve 2*25.000uF. And then also add some small HQ caps in in parallel, e.g. app. 1/10, 1/100 and 1/1000 of the value= 2.200 uF, 220uF and 220nF etc.
