Thumbs up what is your favorite loundness or pre-amp or anykind of circuit that make good sound

I wanna know (what is your favorite in your mind) what is the best ..... too.

... is means loundness or pre-amp or anykind of circuit that make good sound.

I have one. The sound is very great with any amp.

I think if put this in it will make every amp sound better.

The "Direct" button on my amp, it bypasses every tone and loudness control

I think EQ can have positive effects on the sound when it is used to compensate for faults elsewhere in the system or for room effects, but I don't think there's one universal circuit that's going to improve things. But everyone has different tastes and hears things a little different, so what works for me may not be your preference.

Default Hey man! show your idea to us!

I like the old loudness, as i can use low power, when amplifier is working in class A.

Personally I really like the sound of "aural exciter" thingies. Not something you will find on a preamp perhaps, but I do have it via my soundcard in my PC. And a loudness control is nice for listening at lower levels.

Loudness compensation for low level listening and a -20dB mute button for the same reason. Volume control tracking is not so important then.

I'm a great fan of the Bass and Tilt circuits used in the old QUAD 34 and 44 preamps.

Ohayo gozaimasu,

it is a class A power output stage of the pre-amp, with impedance in series (output impedance) no higher than 5 Ohm, followed by output cable. Higher output impedance (50 Ohm, 1k etc.) destroys quality of the sound of every preamp.
