The active low x-over input of Infinity's RS-1B system has an impedance matching circuit, with a few switch settings to match the electronic crossover unit to the input impedance of the mid-high power amp. The system consists of two mid-high screens and two woofer columns which have the electronic servo x-over. The mid-high screens have a passive x-over.
The input circuit is shown on the x-over image. Mind you, this is a twenty-two year old system.
Is the impedance matching still necessary, because I don't see it being used in todays active x-overs. If necessary, can it be simplified in terms of components or replaced by another more suitable circuit?

I am really surprised that no one backed MrFeedback yet. When it came to complain about Harry the outrage was widespread, but when somebody is really useless to this Forum nobody really complains. Is it because you don't care or is it because you can't comprehend the message he sends?
Although I usually don't complain, the behaviour of gromanswe is one big joke and distraction for others trying to benefit from tis place.

My Great aunt used to bake a very nice fruitcake, and date loaf too.

If you listen, you are sure to glean that the majority here are peaceable, and really do not need the evangelical sermons.
Perhaps do a little study of alternate religous fixed belief systems.
The Egyptian Book Of The Dead, or The Tibetan Book Of The Dead are good starters, even Islam in the pure form and also hypnotism.
This may open your mind some.
