Just wanted to praise the designers of ampslab for a pair of wonderful modules.
I have used two separate supplies with twin bridge rectifiers and 8 Elnas of 10000uf per channel for smoothing. The amp is to say the least superb and far surpasses my other tube amps (AMC, Radford, etc) in clarity, highs and lows, detail, and imaging. To my mind if the bipolars can develop such high quality levels of sound, tubes and the heat, biasing, cost, durability and pain associated with them would be rendered obsolete.
