how can i build inverter 12V to 220V 60HZ
and it will be from 555 timer and i need it to be up to 500W i have alot of 2N3055 and 3 fo ne555 it will be connect to car battary thanks tamir. |

If you use a switching supply then the 2N3055 will not be any good as they are nowhere near fast enough.
If you use a sinewave you need something other than 555 timer and the thing will be huge and hot. I think you will run into a lot of problems unless you are a bit more experienced, best to just buy an inverter in this case. |
