Hello,
I'm making my first practice amp for guitar and I'm using the "BSIAB" distortion pedal for the pre-amp and "The Ruby" for the power section. The BSIAB is a bypass pedal so the amp will hopefully be like a 2-channel amp (Clean when BSIAB is disengaged and dirty when engaged). Below are links to the schematics for each. BSIAB http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/...bsiab_2_lo.gif The Ruby http://www.runoffgroove.com/ruby.html I already made the Ruby with the "bassman" mod and I'm using 8 AA batteries instead of a 9volt. Sounds pretty good through crappy speaker. Now to my questions.... 1. How do I connect the BSIAB with the Ruby for best results? 2. How do connect the power supply? How can I do this so that I keep the same power as if the AA batteries were connected to just the Ruby? 3. Any speaker recommendations? I have no idea what to use. I apologize if this is not clear. I'm green and haven't yet learned the jargon. Thanks in advance for any assistance that you can provide! Jeff |
