Someone sent me the 1590 schematic... tnx...

if you use the dot netzero address, it won't handle more than a few kb of mail...

Default altec 1593B

Hi there burnedfingers,

I'ts just happened that I have acquired a 1593B from junk shop and really interested to power up the 2 units. I found a burned PCB and would like to restore it. May I ask if you have the schematics and 'would appreciate if you can share it to me.

thanks,

Ric

I've got bunches of 15xx amps in my garage pulled from a university sound system. Some work and many don't. I'll make you a great deal on them if your willing to pay shipping. I can ship the schems with 'em too.

Thanks HiSPL for the proposal, It will be too difficult to import it . it will cost 3 times the price of one item in customs.

You would be farther ahead to take HiSPL up on his offer. A driver board in good shape is far better than a burned up one. He may be willing to send the parts that you need instead of a whole unit.
Keep in mind these amps are commercial and are made to withstand the abuse of 20 years in a commercial system and will not sound the best in a home system.

Thanks for the advice Burnedfingers. For further estimate, I would appreciate if HiSPL could tell me how much will i pay for the units and send proforma invoice & packing list.

I'll get on it tonight after work. I'll inventory everything and take pictures. I could send the guts, but if you want the transformers too that's like 80% of the weight of these things.

I'll have more info to send tomorrow

BTW, I like these amps alot. I have a couple on my garage system and think they work great for what they are.....
