i was curious if anyone had any data/specs on western electric 12-d germanium transistors? i got some a while back to play with, but can't find info on them (as they were not sold to the public...government/bell telephone only).

Well, start with a Vce of around 32volts and a Vbe of around .3volts and go from there.

Since we're on the subject of Germanium transistors......
Wouldn't they be useful for a low-voltage or battery powered amplifier to get the most voltage swing possible before clipping, since they have a lower voltage drop and saturation than Silicone transistors? |
