Hi,
I'm looking for schematics to build an amplifier for electrostatic headphones. On the page www.high-amp.de I found a complete description of how to build an amplifier, including schematics, layout etc. Is anybody out there who has already build this amp and can give me reply about the sound-quality, or knows where to get other schematics for these kind of amps. Thanks, Silke |

A few errors in that schematic.
The 2sa2705 are actually 2sc2705, and are npn not pnp The ksa1156 are actually 2sa1156 except for the missing current sources in the top of the 2nd stage, it looks very similar to stax srm-313 If you want a truely over the top design you can build my blue hawaii, here http://headwize.com/projects/showpro...lmore4_prj.htm |

Kevin:
I have used a transformer for my Stax Lambda's and saw a HV supply with a set of phones on the Bay -- the sales price was around $400. this certainly seems more reasonable, you are to be commended!!! with respect to Blue Hawaii and Maui -- I had one PAR at Kapalua and it was on the 18th. |
