Default Amplifier from the 80's

Browsing through old papers, I found some pages of a magazine
"Hi-Fi News & Record Review" really yellowed by the time that
attracted my attention.
It's an old article published by John Linsley Hood about a simple
30 watt integrated amplifier that I had a chance to build and gave
me an extraordinary pleasure to listen to. It had the dimensional
quality that these days everybody is looking for. It had all the
atributes that defines Hi-Fi with an astounding THD factor of
0.007 at 20 Watts at mid frequencies and even though the
topology is old, it represents one of the most musical amplifiers
that I've ever heard.
Just out of curiosity for people who like old designs, here is,
not the complete article (I don't have it in its intirety) ,but only
four pages that I could save for so many years.
The complete article includes a preamplifier made out of IC's
(old 741 in METAL cases!!!!), that is not definitely our most
desireble preamp of our days....Needless to say, this one is
not included, only the power amplifier.
Enjoy it!
JLH 2005, Cyrus and so on...

i can't see it. putting jlh in the title will make the post more relevant to more people. I'm currently building his 15 w class B cct from the 70's.
We will pay the price, but we will not count the cost...
