Yes, next time I have a mental breakdown, I'll make sure I pay good money for my own work. Anyway, life is very busy and I'm still working on my own PCB for the Nmos350/500 Mk2. This one promises to be a great amp. Maybe one day I'll finish it. Cheers Q

Hi,
Quote:
These Chinese Crooks ought to be thought a lesson ! They've made it a hobby and habit of stealing works of various people from diyaudio and make killing out of it ! The other day within days of the release of the Chipamp by Marou Penesa's (forgive me if I've spelled it wrongly) revison C of LM3886,A Ebayer had put the complete built unit on sale ! There are several such instances ! Although you are not doing these designs for money, but still its very much important and necessary to protect your intellectual property !Ironically although I being a serious follower of your works cannot take this as easily as you've taken ! Regards.

Hi Quasi and all DIY Hobbyists,
have redesign last night NMOS PCB with Crow Bar and VI Limiter for 2U, size is 80 mm x 220 mm now, but this new function is not test ! additional PCB is Control Board with DC detect and Turn on Delay but Im shocked, local german PCB Supplier want about 150 USD for 1 double side PCB without devices and Heatsinks. I think we should not angry with Chinese Ebay Dealer Item number: 280301824770 , US $34.99 from Hong Kong Ebay Seller is nothings, postage in Germany for Devices and PCB is expensiver for me compare to complete NMOS Kit from Hong Kong. I will order 1 Hong Kong Kit and test VI Limiter / Crowbar before produce PCB by local German supplier. After weekend I will send redesign PCB and schematic to all DIY which email me to improve and new ideas A good idea to improve could be to add electronic turn on delay and DC Protect without relay in NMOS, have some sample schematics from American High Power PA amps regards |

Hello, I have new changes in NMOS Design
positive or negative feedback to improve or faults is welcome - Whenever the two bases of T1 and T8 are not exactly the same, the amplifier „is out of feedback“ When this happens, (clipping, short circuit), either T8 or T4 will conduct. This current will drive the Darlington T4 or T7 in NMOS Control Board which drices the Clip LED directly. - D3 and D4 prevent T1 and T8 from latching due very high Input Signals - T3 and T5 in NMOS Control Board is for Modualation - D17 Dual Color LED RED/GREEN in NMOS Control Board is status LED for Protect or Operation - VI Limiter and additional Crowbar to protect speakers |
