Dear all DIY gurus,
I have some questions about the IC modules. These modules are used in my integrated amp and are located near to input RCAs. As shown in the picture, a module says "2058D JRC M1017G". And the other one says "2058D JRC M1021G". Are both of them basically common opamps? Which grade are they? Can I change these modules to better ones? If I can, which models or brands should I consider? Thank you. |

Some chip with 4 operational amplifiers inside?.... check the LM324 and see the supply pins, also the input pins...and touch them with small metal to see if sounds!!!
If sounded, we discover some cousin.....yeahhh..... if not....better to cry. because could not see in the internet. Carlos

I think that's a JRC quad OP also called NJM2058D. Made also by Harris:

Thank you so much for every feedback. I have three more questions.
- Now I think it is actually NJM2058D, but what is the difference between M1017G and M1021G? - Which grade are they? Regular? Decent? or Audiopihle? - If they can be upgraded by other equivalent modules, which ones should I try? Thank you |

Hi Hjelm
Quote:
I myself was looking for the ID of an IC of my plate amp. I first thought dat it was JRC 20600 M8009G. It appears to be, after another close look, 2060D. By the link you provided I did a search for NJM2060D and presto, it came up. Now I know it's an op-amp and will be able to repair my plate amp. Thanks man! Cheers Walter |
