Teleton SAQ-206B solid state stereo hifi amplifier
I inherited this Teleton SAQ-206B amplifier in 1981 and have used it happily for many years.

Can anyone give some details as to the history of the piece?

Are these models now of historic interest only?

It still seems to work very well.

Thanks in advance.

I have to admire this brand. My Dad bought me an SAQ-206B when I was 13 and it still works brilliantly (I'm now mid-40s), unlike my Cyrus, Bose, Pioneer, JBL, Realistic, acoustic solutions etc etc.

Coupled with Wharfedele Sheltons and Akai GX4000 it powered many happy teenage parties.

The Japanese certainly seemed to know how to build for the long term then!
