Hello everybody!
I am intending to build the "Zenquito" amplifier from http://perso.wanadoo.fr/jm.plantefeve/sche.html Can someone tell me about the following issues: 1. What audio signal voltage has to be used to feed this amp? I have built a preamp which ist delivering 3-5 V signal amplitude. If this is too much, how can I make the circuit voltage-amplify less. 2. Why are those high-voltage transistors used (2N4516, 2N3440)? I have a couple of D44H11 / D45H11 and I was asking myself if I could use these instead of the 2N 's. Do I really need such high Vce of the transistors? I will report about the results when the project is finished. Thanx for your comments!
