DC offset stability and operating point question.
Is it acceptable to use a resistor network in the current sourced front end of an amp to set the DC offset at the output? In other words, the operating point of the output stage is being set by the front end, which is biased with a current source and using trim pots to zero out the offset. Would I see too much drift with this type of setup? BTW, this is with a mosfet p/p class A amp with no global NFB. It's using a VGS multiplier to bias the output stage. What are your thoughts?
