old hatachi amp buzzing
 

i have an 80's hitachi head unit for a home stero jut recently it has started to make an annoying buzzing noise thru the speakers
does any one have any ideas what might be causeing it , or is it just too old

Your problem is probably the power supply electrolytic caps. check them, and if they're bad, replace them with the same or higher values.
