I built 4 ETI480s and they worked fine (most of the time) except when things got hot. Then they would start to oscillate.
Have you seen the Silicon chip replacement for this amp called the SC480?
If you can get just the boards you can use your existing output transistors if they are still ok (though I suspect not) and maybe even other components from the ETI board (DB139/BD140, first stage transistors etc).
The specs on the SC480 are excellent compared to the earlier ETI.
