I recently purchased this ampeg v6b solid state bass head for 20$.The amp powers up fine, sends signal to the cabinet fine, and the volume and tone knobs seem to effect the amp hiss as they should, but I cant get any signal from the input section through the speakers or the preamp out.I was wondering if this could be caused by one of those orange drop capacitors being dried out, all the soldering connections with the input jacks and all that looks fine.No signal from either of the two inputs by the way..
thanks Jon |
