Hi!
This belongs maybe in tweak department but I wonder if there are any technical differencies between ruthenuim oxid (in plain 1206, 0805 etc SMD's) and ordinary metal film 0,6 W hole mounted? I know so far that the SMD types are much worse in temperature stability probely also in long term stability but how about noise and other defects? And if we come into the tweak area: Do they sound bad or good compared to the ordinary hole mounted types? Sorry, posted this message in the wrong forum, can't move it... Ignore this thread and go here instead. Ruthenuim oxide versus metal film in resistors
