Anyone have car audio amp plans?

Has anyone built a car audio amp or have plans(or know where to get them) to build a 12V car audio amp? Im looking for one that is around 50W RMS or 200 RMS(either one). Any info would be greatly appreciated. This would be my first amp to build.

nope.
20w rms per channel is easy enough

grab a chipamp from national.com

you wont find DIY car amps

a few people have investigated SMPS on the CAR AUDIO part of the forum ,with some success.But not enough to get too excited about 200w amps for.

Yes, you can do it. But you must be familiar fist with making any DIY audio (soldering, or any safety precautions in assembling electronics), otherwise could be dangerous for you, especially the smps.
