Hi all,
I have a 150W/8R sub amp that has really bad distortion on the output. Although you can hear the music coming through, it's seriously 'fuzzy'.
Any ideas where in the circuit I should start looking to correct this? I managed to get hold of the schematics of an amp that is supposed to be very similar (I think it's the next model up as it has twice as many output transistors) from the electronics store that sells this model.
In addition, of the cables between the pre/pwr section, one of is labelled "CONT". Any ideas what this might be? It's not the signal cable.
Thanks heaps,
Paul
