Hello,
I have a problem with my amplifier (cyrus 7). I connected a CDP to the amp and caused a pop sound on one speaker. The amp is noisy on that speaker since and always produces a pop sound when I select to that input source even I turn the volume at minimal point. I suspect something has burned! Does anyone has experience with this.
Many thanks in advance.

It then sounds like you've got DC somewhere. Please check that your amplifier - without the CDP connected - does not scratch turning the volume. If it does, then the amplifier has a DC problem. If not, then the CDP has a DC problem. If you have a voltmeter and know electronics you have a chance of fixing. Otherwise you need qualified help.
