change busted output transistors

In a posting some time ago DJSS wrote:
"I have found a way to QUICKLY identify and change a busted output transistor or an entire channel. In the end, I should be able to replace a busted channel and have the system running again in less than 2 minutes."
I like to kow what he made and if there are others with an easy and fast way to replace a complete power stage in diy-amps.
Of course the amp hax to be designed for it (mechanicaly).
I hate to desolder and solder these output devices, especially if there are 16 or more.
Usualy the pcb tracks get bad after a few tries...
