which PSU for Solid-State-Preamp? (4 pics attached)

Hi there,

I am going to build some Solid-State (mic)preamps for mic-recordings.

I have got some PSU-circuits on paper and don't know, which is the best one

Which one would YOU use?

I would properly use no. 3, however there are many other designs

Well only one has provision for phantom powering, but this
isn't easy to use without using microphone transformers.

of course all the other PSUs would have 48+, too but I first need a good "basic solution".

What about changing 10µ to 100n in "psu1.png"?

If you want to keep it simple, the 317/337 is the best way to go for the lowest noise. If you want even lower noise, look at using a Jung Super Regulator arrangement.

That schematic you posted isn't, no.. but put together a 317/337 yourself, it's only 2 more parts than using a 7815/7915.

Do you have a circuit for that (I don't mean the datasheets )

I really need a good PSU for a preamp ...
Is a 317/337 with 2 more parts than 7815... enough for that?
