NAD 2400 popping noise

Help!
I have an NAD 2400 that makes a loud pop through the left channel only when turned on (each time). After this the amp function normally with no other problems.
Any suggestions?

Maybe there is a relay per channel for DC protection/startup thump prevention and one of them has a stuck contact ?

Well...? Actually it takes about 5 seconds to occur and does not make a low freq. thump, but more like a static spark (if that makes sense)

These amps have alot of bad solder connections after they have been used awhile,also check the regulators near the front of the circuit board,the caps there dry up and the tops look like they are ready to open 1000 mfd at 50 v.I have the manual if you need it
