Hi,
My PM66KI was dead but it turned out that it was the supply for the output relay that was dead, a resistor had burned in the stabilizing circuit. Listen for a click on turn on if it is not there then the relay is not closing. Just a suggestion.

Hi everybody!
Thanks hjelm for the suggestion but unfortunately what i've got here is more than a burned resistor. I've had actually saw smoke coming out from my amp. I'd opened it up and found out that all the power transistors are burned (8 pcs in total - i never knew that this amp got that many power transistors, i believed that the PM66KI has only 4) with few more other things. What makes matter worse is that all those parts are not coded. Those Marantz guys had wipe out the numbering on the parts. Oooohhh boy..... Yes Carlos. Ive been searching for the schematics all over the internet with no luck. Thanks for trying anyway. But hjelm has put a link that might help (www.schaltungsdienst.de). I shall try it. I will post the results later. Thanks hjelm. |

Really, i think this is out of purpose... i hate internet to make business...but i know it is, and i will more and more.
I was dreaming with Internet as a open book store.... biblioteque, free library, where people put their infos and ideas... the damn money again! When someone ask schematic i spend whole nigth watching, only to avoid a friend to enter the shark's mouth. Carlos

I've found the schematic for the Marantz PM75. Just email me if you want it.
