What is the purpose of the mosfet? I suppose you don't just want any depletion mode mosfet?

Regards,
Bas

Depletion mode mosfet's are rare these days and certainly power devices.

I can get the depletion mosfets to work in Multisim 10 -- fwiw, Supertex has a comprehensive library of their models.

Nowadays there are even zero bias mosfets, acting as a follower I guess will give the same voltage on source as on gate. Too bad I think Vds was 10V max if I did'nt read it wrong hehe..

I've used depletion mode bsp135 as buffer sometimes hmm..

I just hooked up a little circuit with the TO-92 style LND150N3 (available from Mouser) -- no bias -- the THD% ran around 0.15% which isn't bad for such an extremely simple amp.
