Default 1N4747 diode in leach amp

I am having trouble finding the 1N5250B (20V) zener diode that is used in the leach amp. I did however find the 1N4747 which is a 1W 20V zener diode.

Can I use this diode?

Also - stock code is Z100-20 what is this for? Does it have anything to do with the diode or is it just the company's own stock code?
