Seeking advise for a preamp.
I am looking for a preamp to drive my NIGC Power Ampilifer from a digitial source (My laptop's sound card) with 6.1 decording and may be dolby.... Build it / buy it? Personally I think it will be a hard project to build, but is it true? If I want to buy it, I will limit my budget around $150.... "Poor student". Do they have good DAC on it? Will this Pre Amp be a good example for my needs?Second question, is Mic Preamp form some company like Behringer the same as Line pre amp?
