I am not an electrical/electronics engieering and have not done any soldering before.

i acquired a NAD 2600A recently and it sounds great except at lower volumes the channels are cutting off. I looked around in the forum and found that the speaker relay needs to be cleaned or replaced. I am trying to clean it instead of replacing because I do not mess with soldering.

I found this nice video
YouTube

In about 5:37 in that video the guy shows the top of the original relay open. How did he do that? Is it possible to open the top of the relay without taking it off the PCB?

Any help greatly appreciated!
