KSA 100 MK2 Clone

Hi All

I am new to this board and been thinking of building an Class A amplifier
I have been reading the post on a KSA 100 MK2 Clone and finding in my taste

After a search on Google I found some amplifier board on aliexpress
My question is, have any body traide these, are they good ore just a cheep copy

I have two Krell KSA100MKIIs in the shop at the moment and that schematic is not even close to the real thing. There are a few parts in the real thing that are very hard to find if not impossible.

There's a hand drawn schematic on Elektrotanya that seems to be correct or at least I haven't any errors yet.

Wouldn’t touch this with a ten foot pole or your precious voice coils.., but hey give it shot and report back , certainly cheap enough to gamble a little bit..extreme power testing on the bench first

There are at least two schematics of the KSA100 on this Forum.

Claiming 100W of ClassA from a 4pair 2sa1943/c5200 output stage is preposterous.
This amounts to only 1200W of device dissipation whereas the real KSA100 used 4pair of 250W devices amounting to 2000W of dissipation.
Taking account of the very poor SOA of the 2sa1943/c5200, this clone amplifier will not be reliable.
