Technics SUV7 hum through phono stage

Hi All

I have a hum through the phnono stage only on my Technics SUV7. It makes no difference if there is a turntable connected or not.

Sounds like a transformer hum. If I touch the 2 large caps on the phono board it makes a horrible noise. Could these need changing or is it something else?

All other inputs are completely silent. Nice sounding amp with a deep bass and lots of power.

Hi.

Considering how old the amp is, it would probably be a good idea to change all of the electrolytics, not only the ones on the phono board.
