Nothing new here but I've been playing with single ended class A power amps along the lines of the Nelson Pass Zen stuff. I made a version using bipolar transistors and a modified ATX power supply details here: http://www.mthain.dsl.pipex.com/mickey.html
It shouldn't sound any good I know, but I'm still listening to it almost two months later. Anyway, have a look/laugh and see what you think. Any ideas on how to improve it would be most welcome. |
