I have desided to build an amplifier without feed-back, to test the sound on my own ears....
My thoughts has been as follows: Current: Single-ended MOS-FET follower with active current source, 10-20W. Capasitor coupled to the load. MOS_FET preferred because of ease of driving.... Voltage: Single stage, if possible. Perhaps a bride of zen circuit, but it does include feed-back. Other suggestions? What could be the problems? Another thing: Mr. Pass describes the sound of the push-pull version og the zen as similar to the zen2. But the difference is the output capasitor...does it not change the sound at all?? |
