JLH 10 Watt class A amplifier

Are you sure it's Russian?

Well the fact that it was written in Cyrillic and the article appears to be from a Russian magazine gave the odds of it being Russian.

However, the point of my post is still valid in that the primary language of the forum is English and I was asking for the contributor to help educate us all in English.

Let's move on if nothing is forthcoming

Kind regards

Mike

Meanwhile, I have investigated this subject by simply meassuring input and output. Meassurements indicate that Vrms is virtually constant over the entire audible region. Also, there is just a slight phase shift starting below 20Hz. On the other side, square wave response looks bad. Perhaps this is because square wave analysis attempts to use relatively simple set of trigonometric functions to present rather complicated physical dependencies. But the amplifier itself sounds great.
